  Deciding between EAAs and BCAAs begins with an understanding of amino acids. The human body uses a total of twenty amino acids, which can be divided between essential & non-essential amino acids. Due to marketing and many supplement brands intentions, many people tend to not know that BCAAs are in fact 3 of the 9 EAAs! BCAAs(branched chain amino acids) are 3 amino acids called Leucine, Iso-leucine, and Valine.
